      1. Agreement to TermsBy using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. You agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and affirm that all information you provide is accurate and true.
     
      1. Boat Rental ServicesWe offer a variety of boats for rental subject to the following conditions:
        • Rental Period: The rental period shall be agreed upon at the time of booking.
        • Boat Operator: The individual designated as the operator of the boat agrees not to permit any passengers to navigate the boat during the rental period.
        • Occupancy: The number of people must not exceed the specified capacity for each boat.
        • Use of Boat: The boat is to be used solely for recreational purposes, in compliance with local maritime laws and regulations.
     
      1. Payment and Security Deposit
        • Fees: The total rental fee must be paid in full at the time of booking.
        • Fuel: The boat is provided with a full tank of fuel. Fuel consumption will be calculated and paid by the customer upon return.
        • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required to cover potential loss or damage to the boat.
     
      1. Cancellations and Refunds
        • Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made 20 days prior to the rental date for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 20 days before the rental date may be subject to a cancellation fee.
        • Weather Conditions: In the event of unsafe weather conditions, as determined by Skiathos Boats, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the rental with a full refund.
     
      1. Safety and Conduct
        • Life Jackets: The boat is equipped with life jackets for all passengers, to be used if necessary. However, it is mandatory for children to wear life jackets at all times during the rental period.
        • Prohibited Activities: Operating the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate termination of the rental, with no refund.
     
      1. Insurance and Liability
        • Insurance: The boat is insured against third parties for personal injuries, property damage and pollution resulting from a collision at sea.
        • Liability: By renting a boat, you assume all risks associated with its operation and use. Skiathos Boats bears no responsibility for any injuries, damages or losses arising from the use of the boat. The client is committed to deliver the boat to the receiving state. Any damage caused to the boat by misuse or negligence shall be borne entirely by the client.
        • Security Deposit: The Client agrees to pay a refundable security deposit of 500 euros prior to the start of the boat rental. This deposit serves as a guarantee for any potential damage to the boat, loss of equipment, late returns, or violation of any terms stated in this agreement. If the boat is returned in the same condition it was delivered and all terms of the agreement are met, the deposit will be refunded in full on the same day if paid in cash, or within 15 days if paid by debit/credit card.
     
      1. Dispute ResolutionAny disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of Skiathos Port Police.
     
      1. Modifications to Terms and ConditionsSkiathos Boats reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. All modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.

    1. General Port Regulations
      • Distance From Swimmers: Maintain a minimum distance of 200 meters from areas where swimmers may be present. If you must approach such an area, proceed at the lowest possible speed and be cautious to prevent any collisions or accidents.
      • Distance From Floaters: Keep a minimum 100 m distance from the red floaters indicating the position of swimmers and divers.
      • Precedence to boats: Always give way to sailboats, rowing boats, and all vessels coming from your right side.
      • Pass a boat: When crossing paths with other boats, always pass behind them—never in front.
      • Prohibited areas: Entering or approaching Skiathos Port is strictly prohibited.
      • Anchoring: Anchoring in designated swimming areas is not allowed.
      • Beaching: Beaching the boat is strictly prohibited.
    By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
